Italian Twist for Your Salad

Lettuce is known for being one of the most delicate salad plants.  It could be eaten cold and raw as it as high water content. Usually, lettuce is eaten with Thousand Island dressing as an appetizer. If you want another healthy way in preparing your salad, these are the ingredients you need for an Italian salad:
  • 1 Lettuce Head
  • 1 Tomato
  • ½ cup of Kernel Corn
  • 1 Can of Tuna
  • 5 tbsp Balsamic vinegar or regular vinegar
  • ¼ Cup of olive oil
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. Cut the lettuce leaves into desired size then tear the leaves and rinse your lettuce, or vice versa.  
  2. Slice the tomato into circles and add it to the lettuce. 
  3. Add ¼ cup of olive oil, 5 tbsp of balsamic vinegar or regular vinegar, 1 can of tuna, ½ cup of kernel corn and add salt depending on your desired taste. 
  4. Mix well so that the ingredients will complement each other deliciously.
This is just another healthy way on how to make a lettuce salad with an Italian touch!
